Ouchio
Looks very similar to what shakey did during the race. Your very lucky if you don’t drop it after hitting a white line in the wet!!!
For sure…
Sheesh! A few went down there, not least of all Shakey.
There was one in supersport, and he was no where near the white line, there is a change in grip level (presumably) where the tarmac surface changes, in those conditions, clearly not good. Did Shakey touch the white line, I couldn’t quite see on the replay?
Anyone know anything about Pitt (guy who crashed, didnt get up and stopped the second BSB race)… I think it was Pitt?
Thought that was shakey!?
There is a kind if river that runs through the bottom of paddock in really wet conditions, I’ve had bothe tyres let go at the same time down there, fun but dodgy stuff!!!
Shakey stopped the first BSB race… someone else stopped the second, it was on the straight just after graham hill bend. Whoever it was didnt get up.
Maybe it also has something to do with the unweighting of the suspension.
As those of you who hav had a hoon at Brands will know, the extra G that you get coming down into the dip is quite noticeable. Maybe before that dip the slope steepens so as you pass over that point there is slightly less weight on the track ergo less grip.
Perhaps this plus rain, white lines (for shakey etc) and debris washing down meant that particular part of the track was a bit ‘skating rink’
Like Barn at Cadwell is always a bit slippier because of the camber, trees overhanging and it takes longest to dry out.
You also get the cars bottoming out there sump pans etc and leaving aluminium traces in the tarmac, very slippery in the rain.
That’s crazy Foxy! I bet he’ll be sore after that. Damn those white-lines!
