This has to be about as boring as on line posts to a motorcycle forum gets, but we seem to have a few I.T. people here, so I’ll not apologise.
I need to convert a 90 page pdf into a Word document so that I can make it an easily editable (is that a word?) document. There are plenty of programmes out there (£20ish to £200ish) to do that and there’s the problem.
Anyone with experience of these things got a recommendation?
I’ve used Foxit (I think - it was a while ago)… only did 1-2 conversions and seemed ok. Mind you the website and programme looks really different now. http://www.foxitsoftware.com/PDF_Editor/
But the problem is that certain things will not always end up converted properly as word does not recognise them.
Do you need the functionality (i.e. square boxes in pdf converted to editable boxes?)

Failing that, the easy solution is to ‘buy’ Adobe Acrobat Standard.
I use Nitro PDF, integrates with word and converts both ways.
If you get stuck I think I can do it for you - we have adobe pro here at work.

Up for a challenge? Turns out it’s not just a simple pdf it’s 88 pages of pdf images, so the cheap programme I tried (free sample) just spat it out and told me to sod off.
Happy to email it if you think you can crack the enigma.
If it’s images that have been converted to pdf, I don’t think you can make them into word…
