any I.T guys able to give me some advice whats the best way to clean your pc up of stuff you may have ‘accidently’ viewed from the net?
have cleaned up temp files, and wiped off cookies but what else can you do
am asking on behalf a friend of course!
Have you deleted your temporary internet files mate and cleared your browser history mate?
Both are in Tools -> Options 
yes that’s what i have done is there anything else you can do?
Window Cleaner? Apparently it will wipe all your trails, even as you’re browsing.
Anybody know any details?
Not without using a 3rd party app like Paivi mentions above mate. I think you’re probably safe unless someone really wants to run advanced data recovery techniques on your hard drive.
Of course, we now all want to know what he’s got on his hard drive…

thanks for your help nothing to bad on my hard drive just that my nephew is coming to stay and he likes to play his pc games and i didnt want him stumbling on to something that he shouldnt!
easiest way then isn’t to clean the pc.
if you’ve got windows xp then just create him an account in “users” and set a password for yours then XP will ask you if you want to make your files “private” .
Do that and then he’s got his own area that can access any of your files.
Really easy to do and keep the folks or any other pc user away from those sins that come with digital camera’s !!!
