I did my test in Enfield last year and the examiner followed me in a car too. It was great fun losing him in heavy traffic and being told to find a safe spot to wait for him to catch up 
haha, I can imagine! 
We’re selling our mates R6 at the moment cos hes gone traveling so its in our garage… if it was easier to get it restricted I might be tempted but apparantly they dont run very well when you do, and as you say, I’d have to cut the seat away… think I’m best off sticking to the cbr125 for now and saving for the SV! 
Looking forward to getting out at the weekend, dont even need to plan a route anymore cos I can go anywhere I like- used to be pain trying to avoid the Motorways!!!

my examiner was in a car too when i did my test , i thought this was strange but then when we started found it a big help
because i wasnt as aware of him being there
as when youve got someone on a bike in a bright yellow jacket following you it can add to the nerves
