passed my A2!

With a 33bhp limit if it’s extra punch you want then surely you want the lightest ride to get the power to weight ratio

Personally I think what looked nice would win me over as they’re all quick enough until you move up again

That’s the the only thing that had me worried as well. But I’m assuming (hoping really) that I’ll get used to it.
p.s

Does anyone know why the european ninja has 250r branded on the end whilst the ones on sale in America do not?

yeah i mean in a week or two you’ll be fine with it, but you cant do on-the-spot u-turns on the sv among other lil manouvres.

also i was commuting home yesterday and i dunno if it was me riding fast lyk a madman or the cbr’s qualities but i was going in front of ducati monsters, vfr’s, bmw’s…and the like!

…for commuting i think as long as u got somethin with relative punch, and you youself got good judgement skills you can make mincemeat of bigger bikes through traffic!

and at the moment i mean after 2 years i’d prob want a KTM duke [ill prob change my mind in 2 years but i like it atm!]…it just seems like it does everything very well…esp if ure gona mainly use it within the M25.

i checked kawasaki.com/co.uk…both have it as Ninja 250R…doubt there is any difference but i know in america you get more colours than the green/black we get.

If you are commuting why not go down the 400 supermoto route? I know the Suzuki DRZ400 is close to the 33bhp so it wont take much off the power once restricted, also they are reliable unlike the other highly maintenance supermotos.

Best advise though is get what you want and can afford.

Sorry to go OT but which looks better: Green or Black ‘Ninja’???

Green is the obvious Kwak/Ninja colour but Black is more ‘sexier’, no? (and its easier to colour co-ordinate with any clothing/lid :D)

yeahh supermoto’s are nice too but i dont like the look of most apart from the new duke’s!

abzolve…with that its jus personal opinion…i wud get balck just cos it attracts a little less attention to a not-very-fast 250cc bike, and black stilll looks damn hot!

black with green logo’s and green rim tape perhaps? it could work!

the bigger ninja’s look mean on bright green/orange!

well done on the test , personaly i would buy what ever 600 you can aford an like, get the kit fitted robs ya fathers brother. if you buy a 250 you know your gonna want an upgrade by the time you can ride any size. i had a baby blade with restriction fitted peeked at 112mph. then i had my licence revoked. so done direct access. just stay clean for 2 years ,6 points an its bye bye bike.
