I need to park around this area over Christmas, inc Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Any recommendations for car and/or bike parking there ? Thanks
Find the nearest NCP and use that. You can find the nearest one on their site.
UCL is around there, so there’s a load of bike bays IIRC off Gower Street. Warren St too deffo has a bike bay. You can probably tuck it around the back of N. Gower Street too and use the underpass.
I agree with Afro, stick it in the NCP £4 per day, I wouldn’t want to leave it on deserted streets over Xmas.
Some NCPs are free for bikes (the one under the National Theatre, for example. Actually, I’m not 100% sure it’s NCP rather than another parking company, but it’s a “proper” manned car park with barriers).
If you google motorbike parking london or similar then you’ll find one or two search engines with maps that you can search by postcode.
Also, if you know a friendly piaggio dealer, they give away EXCELLENT parking maps (like mini a-zs that cover Hammersmith to about Canary Wharf and list all the bike bays and car parks where bikes are free).
Obviously a car park is better - but if one is not avaialble there is plenty of good safe MC bays south of Euston Road many with security bars to chain your bike to.
