bike bays around beaumont avenue?

Can’t help you with the bays, but I am sure W14 is still in the Westminster council area so probably you have to pay.

Do a search of the Westminster council website.

Bob

apologies it’s part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

Westminster are the only borough that charge to park bikes. Other boroughs you may have to park in bike bays but it’s free, and some, like Barnet, you can park wherever the hell you like

Right so I used to live in West Kensington W14 near the tube. Some of it is 'ammersmif and Fullham and some of it is The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. In 'ammersmif and Fulham as I reacall motorcycles can park in residents bays for free. Elad used to live there and he parked outside his house.

In Kensington and Chelsea it’s different. You can park for free in bays marked Solo Motorcycles only even if they have ground anchors. You cannot park in Bays marked M/C Res Perm during the controlled hours (08:30 - 22:30 Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 12:30 Saturday). You can park on single yellow lines after between 18:30 and 08:30 the following day Monday to Friday and from 12:30 till 08:30 the following Monday. If you park in a pay and display during the controlled hours you have to pay and display.

In Kensington and Chelsea don’t even consider chancing it. The adminsitration and organised and brutal, they even have special vehicles for removing scooters and bikes. You will either get fined, or fined and your bike removed in which case you have to pay for the pound and the original fine.

There is more information on http://www.rbkc.gov.uk/ but the above is the gyst.

cheers, been and gone and now home like a drown rat, but YOU CAN PARK FOR FREE IN PAY & DISPLAY AREAS, found a parking warden and asked, then checked the machine to make double sure
