Guess what the missing word is
this has enraged meâŚhow can they get away with that?
ist just not onâŚpersonally i would have had trouble keeping my temper inline if i was present.
i would say more but this REALLY isnt the place;)
Its not on how dare they B******
im with ya ratty on this one, words fail me
+1
F*cking fundamentalist idiots.
whats the betting they get let off with nothing more than a telling offâŚYOU hold up a placard against them and see what happens to YOU !!! makes me mad
exactlyâŚ
bit more respect for the troopsâŚpoor sods have probably lost mates while out on tour. SHOW SOME RESPECT!
although I agree entirely that, wither you agree or not with the western involvement in an occupation war that could be contested to at least the real motivation behind it, that manifestation was tasteless, stupid and disrespectful (especially to the family of those who have fallen doing their duty for their country).
However, lets not forget that we are in a democratic country that respect the concept of freedom of speech and that one of the main reason we claim we send soldier both in Afghanistan and Iraq is to free the locals populaces from dictatorship and bring to them the same freedom we take for granted too often.
And as the (second) most famous American president said;
"âYou want free speech? Letâs see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, whoâs standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.â You want to claim this land as the land of the free? Then the symbol of your country cannot just be a flag. The symbol also has to be one of its citizens exercising his right to burn that flag in protest. Now show me that, defend that, celebrate that in your classrooms.
Then you can stand up and sing about the land of the free."
if they protested in their own country of Iraq they would have been beheaded. They should be grateful they are in a free country, England. I would go on but some would say it wouldnât be PC:angry:
Nicely put both Ratty and Frederic.
However as mentioned this is not the place to air your views about such topics and i would urge people to do the same, or at least consider your words carefully.
See i can be sensible at times;)
Chances are those people have never even set foot in a middle east or âmuslimâ nation. I agree, those people really get to me, however Iâm bigger than them.
Iâd have found it hard to march past them. It is disgusting, disgracefull and very disrespectfull to their fallen mates.
Just my point. we need to take the high road with those idiots as the member of the regiment in parade seems to haveâŚ
as much as we should point out they are a bunch of inbreed retard clearly finished with camel excrement, we should celebrate the fact that we are in a country when you can be such a **** head⌠Or why did we send people to died there for in the first place if our value are not higher than theirs?
Because if it only about domination, imposing our views and petrol⌠then they are bloody right to protestâŚ
if they feel so bad for iraq then why dont they fvck off back there.
the only good thing out of this is the locals stood up to them and the coppers moved the c*nts along, they should not have let them demonstrate anyway.
i hope this p*sses more people off and some1 stands up to them more.
What would this say about us?
Very poor taste. Hrm, well, you know what, I wonder if anyoneâs told them one of the benefits of this great country is that our Passport is accepted the world-over. I suggest they bloody use it if they donât like the UK.
Protest is at the heart of British democracy, but damn right thereâs a time and a place, and on top of that, it certainly doesnât help to further distance an already troubled public image of a minority. All that did was put public opinion against them. Morons.
Iâm not a violent man but for that scum I would make an exception.
Absolutely disgusting.
According to The Telegraph, they were chanting âNo surrender to the Taliban.â
I think weâd all agree with that.
Wouldnât it be win-win next time for them to go to Basra and our soldiers to stay here, rather than the other way round?
Ian
the thing i dont understand is, if i they are that extreme and against the operations of british troops on say, islamic soil? then why do they live in the same country as those they are opposed too?? makes no sense.
either way it was downright disrespectfullâŚim not a great fan of the yanksâŚbut i would LOVE to see there reaction to such an incident.
**before its said88âŚi have muslim friendsâŚnone act in the way these idiots have.
i believe in free speech:if you dont like it
here **** right off
