Oh lan to lan router. I didn’t know that was a thing. I need some of those.
very easy… log onto second router - change IP so its not the same as the first one, turn off DHCP server (so the IPs come from the first router), and connect the two from one LAN port to the other. Job done

Let me get this right, you laid a cable from house to shed, then connected two routers together and set then up as Lan/Lan?
Or am I missing part of the story?
yep exactly that… the external cable is to connect the two routers. then the second router extends the wifi network into the office. I also have internal Cat6 cables to plug into the router if i want to (e.g. TV)
