In any of your experiences, or those that you know of, has it been harder to sell bikes with non-standard paint jobs, such as DreamMachine etc? I’m not thinking particularly of flashy/outrageous ones, but more from the point of view that people might not want them due to higher insurance premiums etc?

I got my Busa (with a very loud paint job) for well under its value on E-bay.

If a paint job is too out there or personal to the person that commisioned it it will strugle to sell IMHO where as a good race rep will have no problems.
