PAID Market Research

Hello - looking for bikers to participate in a 1 hour in-person interview in Wimbledon, before 25th March - payment £100. You can register your interest at www.plus4.co.uk/bikers … keen to hear from a variety of bikers, inc. a collector [so do share if you know any!]. With thanks, Cara

Do you know any (motor) bikers who might be available for a research interview Monday or Tuesday THIS COMING WEEK in Wimbledon? (1 hour / £100 cash). We are particularly keen to hear from anyone planning to upgrade from smaller cc bikes (aged 22+), also from anyone who started riding much later in life (aged 35+), also from anyone collecting vintage/rare bikes (aged 35+). All must arrive on current bike and have log-book as proof of ownership, all must share LinkedIn or similar showing current job role and bring proof of age photo ID. Topic is motorcycle brands. You can register at www [dot] plus4 [dot] co [dot] uk [slash] bikers

Scam?

Posting on forums like this is a standard way of recruiting difficult to access participants for market research so likely to be legit.

Companies like this will be hired to find people to meet a spec to do research with, typically at the request of another company (I.e. a motorcycle brand). These guys seem to do that plus have the viewing facilities.

Having said that, I won’t comment on anyone’s legitimacy - investigate at your own leisure.

@Cara-PlusFourMarketR one thing to consider is that for a lot of people driving somewhere centrally and parking up for a period of time is not worth the risk

You might want to specify if you have secure parking that people can feel their bikes are safe (i.e. where they can lock it up to something with a chain and not in public view).

Ah you’re making me nostalgic to be on that side of the two way mirror again :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you, we do cover this when we speak but I understand what you mean regarding the advance reassurance. Assuming everyone shows up, we are now fully recruited … if we need to top-up, I’ll come back and spell more out… thanks for the advice!

I recall an LBer participating in this sort of research group before. He found out about the Kawasaki H2 naked bike before it was public knowledge. Very cool.
