How’s it going?
My name is Jason. Recently moved to London from Australia…I like the weather better here
Travelled to these parts for a working holiday. Looking to hang in London for 12 months then pack up the bike and go travelling Europe for another 12 months. That’s the plan anyway!
Back home I’ve got a CBR 954. Have explored much of Australia on it but I couldn’t be stuffed organising to ship it over, as much as I love the thing. Here’s a pic from Western Tasmania on a road trip I did at the start of this year.
I really thought I could go for a while here without a bike, as that would be the cheaper, smart thing to do. I lasted one and a half weeks, cos yesterday I bought a TL1000S. Haven’t picked it up yet. Will post pics when I do
Hope to catch up for a ride some time.
BTW…after I pick up the TLS, I’m gonna want to do some work with the suspension. What is THE place in London to get shock and fork work done?
Cheers!
Jason.
Hi and welcome. THE place for suspension work is B&N race science. A lot of us have had our suspension done by Brian. You can contact him here, his member name is B
Cheers everyone
And thanks for the heads up Shewoolf…will definitely give him a buzz when I am able to get things happening!
Hi fortytwo and welcome… Brian is THE man Qx
Hi Jason!

Get yourself down to the meet soon and get to know some folks!
Nice one :hehe:

Hey Jason,
Nice pics of Tassie. We just got back from two weeks touring Tas. with the FJR13.ORG Forum mob.
God’s country for bikes !! Two weeks of the best and most demanding twisties we’ve ever been through, and scenery to make postcards look dull !!
Hope all your plans work out mate and live life like you only get one go - 'cause you do !!
Sincere…cheers for the :hehe: …reminds me of home in the land down under, hehe
Smurff…awesome stuff and I wholeheartedly agree. Amazing and VERY challenging roads at times. Plus, I reckon I can pick the location of that first pick of yours…just outside Queenstown?
Yep You Got It !!
Top of the 99 bends down into Queenstown. Couldn’t appreciate the bends that day though, as we were two up and it was pissssssing down - but a great ride all the same !!:w00t:
ahaha funny you should mention that…the first time I rode the 99 bends (out of Queenstown) it was pissing down as well. That kept up all the way through the Franklin-Gordon national park. Anyhow, two weeks later I got to come back through (towards Queenstown) and it was clear skies, so that really redeemed the experience for me. The west coast really does have **** weather Mate who lives there says they receive 3.3 METRES of rain anually.
Did you spot the rare Giant Rainbow Rock Trout on your travels??
