Just wanted to let people know about www.ovalmotorcyclecentre.co.uk I wnet there this week as I wanted to fit a new exhaust on my bike. The guys there are brilliant. The idea is that they have many work benches for you to rent that have all the tools you need to do whatever work you want on your bike. They also have mechanics there to help you out if you need but you do all the work yourself.
I’m pretty new to biking so this place was perfect. The mechanic was with me the whole time (I’m pretty rubbish at mechanics at the moment) and he talked me through the whole job and kept an eye on me. After 50 mins I had a great new can on my bike, had done it myself and properly with some great advice and all this for a fraction of the price of a garage doing it. Great idea, will definitely be going back next time I wanna do some work on my bike
