Worthwhile use of £20 or a waste of time and money?
I ride in all weathers and am a lazy bastard so will probably wash the bike less than I should…

Seen a few bikes with them on so they can’t be a total waste of cash. Plus its only £20 so you might as well take a pun.
yep had one on the hornet… def worth it if you have an aftermarket shock. but it does depend on how good the hugger is at keeping crap off the shock
Pointless if you’ve got a hugger.
I’ve fitted a hugger, but the shock still gets dirty - just nowhere near as dirty as it did before the hugger!
I put mine on there… my argument was if I cannot see the state of the shock, there is no damage to it! 
In all honesty since I put it on, don’t think I’ve ever taken it off - only when Mike (MD Racing) set up my suspension…
Given the shitty finish of most new bikes, I wouldnt bother - this will hide the corrosion and damage occuring to a vital component. Just keep it coated in ACF 50 all year round.
