glad to hear the sat nav and music is working well
Motorways are not boring on a Busa they are short and filtering will be a pleasure. :D:D
No junkie that is the pan
As he said. Top roads up there so enjoy them! ![]()

OK, Back in London!!
I have taken my bike up to The Highlands many times but this trip has got to be one of the best, probably due to a combination of the new bike and absolutely amazing weather.
The trip on the way up wasn’t great. The Busa eats up the miles on the motorway as you can imagine but north of Birmingham there was miles and miles of solid traffic at a virtual stand still - this carried on for the whole of the M6 until Carlisle which was basically my halfway point. No fun filtering at approx 20mph.
This caused my journey which, with stops, usually takes me about 11 to 12 hours to last just over 13 hours so when I got home me Mum did the dutiful thing and had a hot bath ready and the kettle on.
The first few days up there and the weather was it’s usual, the occasional (often) bit of rain. The only thing I didn’t get a chance to do was to ride to The Isle of Skye, ended up going in the car. Next time though.
I didn’t take as many pics as I’d have liked but here’s a few and for those of you thinking about a trip North … you have to do it.
On a down side, after the extremely bad freezing conditions over the winter, some of the roads aren’t great with the surface in a bad condition (not as bad as a London road yet but getting that way!!).
