oops!

What you would call a near miss:w00t:

Righthander me I tad too close to the white line, car coming the other way, far too close to the white line:w00t: goodbye mirror! could have been worse:cool:

EM

oo eck, i do hope Mrs Busa wasnt on the back?

Jebus Mo, that was a close shave…

So glad to hear your ok fella, and i hope the good lady wife wasnt onboard at the time?

'kin hell, that is definatley what I’d refer to as a close shave - what speed were you doing - ******* good job staying on the bike regardless!

You don’t want to do that twice :pinch:

Sorry I never had a spare

If mirror size is inversely proportional to bad luck, hope thats only 7 mins.

Road lines aren’t racing lines!!! Glad to hear no more than minimal damage.

always good advice from jimc

Glad you stayed upright

 that is very close Mo. What happen to the cage? Not that is matters just so long as your ok mate.

Is that one of those new aerodynamic mirrors Mo?!?

Glad to hear it wasn’t any worse and that you stayed upright. Shame about the bike but a mirror is easily fixed, mind you I’d have thought you wouldn’t need to use them much on a Busa, not gonna see much behind you as there can’t be many other vehicles on the road that can do warp factor 8 like a 'busa can?!?

Yes she was:w00t: We all make mistakesAt the end of the day it was my F*ck up, I feel the car could have moved over but to be fair he was on his side of the road, (just)

No idea, he never stopped. I turned round and went to try and find him but he had gone.

You were lucky, could have been much worse.

I was just saying on another thread about my near miss with a 7.5 tonne Sainsburys lorry. I was on a left bender, well inside my lane, and he came around the bend on my side. I travelled down the side of him and then managed to pull up at the side of the road. Dunno how I kept her upright. Boyfriend chased after him and got the number…currently in the process of a claim. The crash bungs and my right leg took the brunt of it.

Other half also did the same as you but on a left hander…hit some gravel and slid over the line. Managed to get back to his side, just, but the car coming the other way was right on the line so the 2 of them touched. Dave got battered in the hand and foot, no damage to the bike. The car lost its wing mirror.

Lucky boy mo, good on yer for putting your hand up, but good reminder about how not to really run the white lines (although it is something I do a lot… )
