Front end should be done by Wednesday my old china.
Wheel powder coated and new bearings/seals
Bearings/seals in and disc’s fitted, will get the tyre swapped over tomorrow.
Glad to see Cabbie is training you in workshop-tidiness:D
Pfft it doesn’t rub off you’ve Seen my tidy at work
The 6 pots are great if you keep them good, but they do go off quickly.
I stripe and clean mine every 3 months, and remove the dust seals which are the main problem.
They’re also a bastard to bleed properly…
Caliper hangers
Had to remove 2mm from the calipermounts to get them dead centre to the disc’s
All centred.
Speedo pickup fitted
All done and ready to fit to bike.
Good to see the bike back on two wheels shiver.
It’s alive!!!
No it’s not, he lost his Pazzo brake lever, :w00t:
Well tonight was a 5 hour mission to get most of the long winded bits out of the way and I’ve managed to lose bolts nuts and even a pazzo lever in the past 8 weeks.
Afew problems have come up such as the rad is too far forward
The clutch lever housing didn’t go along the tl bar far enough
Can’t bleed the calipers there’s a massive air lock in there.
Still I carried on and I’m still a long way off but I finished spraying the panels which are alot better than they were but once I’ve got the money I’ll be getting it done properly.
Got the front end fitted and wired up, bled the brakes and ordered another pazzo over thanks to losing the last one somehow.
Found lots of issues with nothing fitting at the moment so I’ll get to moving everything around till it fits again
Stop faffin and get it finished, old tart! :w00t:
Good effort matey . glad to see it looking like a bike again!
Nice work Baz
Now try and look after it this time eh;)
well done!
very nice, good effort. i always like such conversions. but two things bug me: why chopping calipers if one-off hangers were made and also the calipers hang very low now and i’m thinking what effect will applying brakes have on forks compression? idk
ultimately very nice, if that was my bike those two things i’d have done differently. just my 2 cents.
I admire anyone who does this.
Good on ya.
yeah nice work m8.
when you fitting the stabilisers?
