Only just...

Well that was a close call, Riding Charlie’s deauville back from his work where it has been there for about a week, some stupid blonde walked out in front of me looking the opposite way, when she did look my way she just stood there and watch me skidding towards her. Why do they do that ???

Luckily i brought the bike to reasonable controlled stop considering it was wet too, and she just shrugged her shoulders !!!

Yes great thanks for that, scaring the **** out of me , and where’s the thanks for not hitting her??

Anyway that was my rant for the morning. Wish all bikers safe journey!

This morning I was scared as hell. White van driver almost get me at the junction. Thanx to God I’m still

here. That was scary.

Glad than you ok Claire…

lucky there suzic!. you handled it well.
good to know all involved are alright though.
even on a police bike - sirens sounding away & flashing lights, some still somehow decide to cross the roads in front of me! & always give me that look - thinking they’re faster on their toes & think it’s even funny to play this game.

if that happens, if time allows, one of my tricks would be to stop!, park up, get a hold of them,…& let them have a feel just how heavy these machines really are and then show them a good few pictures of what i got on board of fatal accident involving victims who have been hit & killed by motorcycles.

they usually don’t feel so invincible after that & think then proper road sense could save their lives next time!.

if only they’d learn & switch on their heads when they walk out the front door!.

be aware everyone - the road’s never have a shortage of idiot’s on them!.

Now THIS is an example of proper policing, where you’re allowed to use what keeps your ears apart to do your job, rather than filling in forms, putting ticks in boxes and ‘making up the numbers’.

If more police officers were allowed to use their own judgement in the course of their work, we’d have a much more effective police force. You can bet your life whoever you’ve shown the board to will think twice before stepping out in front of a bike in future. Positive result for BiB, rather than having yet another member of the public moaning about “can’t they go and catch some real criminals instead of motorists”.

Thats a good trick i like it.

Well im just glad also that i didnt manage to chuck Charlie’s bike down the road and to all pedestrians out there going to cross the road LOOK BOTH WAYS!

Good man daryl…least you’re in the position to stop and collar them…

Nice save Suzi

I keep getting this itching urge to tap on the windows of mobile phone users and tell them I’m undercover and that if they don’t give me the phone right now, I’ll have the blue’s onto them…STILL resisting the urge though so no need to send anyone round to feel my collar eh…

By the way…if filtering is legitimately cool up to 12-15 mph, and it officially becomes over-taking at any speed higher than that…what’s the official line about “over-taking” in towns and cities…I don’t remember that from my highway code…but when is over-taking cool and when is it not? I assume the London Met choose to turn a blind eye in general cos over-taking happens so much at over 15mph, but on paper…what are the rules…?

Suzi…Next time you want to get the back end spinning up by holding the front brake slightly and increasing the throttle…

As this happens, shift your body off the bike to the right slightly whilst countersteering to the left.

The back end of the bike will now be nicely outwards heading rather speedily towards dozy bint.

When it connects with her stupid self, make sure you shout , “FORE!!!” at the top of your voice.

PMSL What away to go Afror1, Can you do that on a deauville?

Toby you are right it is extremely tempting to do the old under cover cop

On the way in Charlie let a car out and there he was quite happily driving 1 handed in busy rush hour traffic, with a ****ing cup of coffee in his hand!! it astounds me it really does

Some dumb blonde…? I only stepped out to say hello

Oh you silly moo
