I noticed he’s got an empty left sleeve. The bike must be modified, never seen that before.

Superb attitude!
I’m sure hes mostly 'armless…
(sorry)
does he ride a bandit:D
Followed a bloke from another group on a rideout once who apologised for any strange riding in front of me.
His riding was fine on a big trailie thing but I’d not noticed his false arm clipped onto the left grip
just noticed i wrote it wrong, it was a left-armed rider. I didn’t recognized the bike, my knowledge on bike models is very limited.
something went over someones head there… ![]()
I know a bloke who flies rc helicopters with one hand, yep he lost an arm in a motorcycle accident. He adapted, dremmeled his controller and switched it about, was an amazing flyer with one hand. Determined bloke and nice guy. I guess when this kinda calamity happens you either give up or fight it. He is a true fighter, and a top bloke. Much respect to him and all like him. I dont know how I would react to this day…
There’s quite a few bikers with disabilties who ride bikes, some were injured in bike accidents and want to carry on riding and others don’t feel their disability should prevent them from enjoying biking. Ride magazine did an article a while back on disabled bikers and NABD is the national association for bikers with disabilities. www.nabd.org.uk Gives info on events, ride outs, adaptations to bikes etc if anyone wants to take a look.
There’s a couple of 1 armers who have been out to Jerez with us in the spring(s)
Bloody good riders.
He’s a dispatch rider, on a hornet, it is his left arm that he doesn’t have, I guess he has a foot clutch and thumb operated rear brake.
Not sure who he rides for but he seems to cover a circuit around Strand/Westminster area.
Fare play I say.
