Old Guy

Has he gone on holiday? We miss his words of wisdom.

I’m guessing he’s on holiday - I have definitely missed not having him around the place.

Wish He`d let us know, could have turned the computer off for a while.

Now were quite concerned. Hope Hes not visiting New Orleans! No-one but no-one can replace his amazing wit and sparkling repartee. He is a legend and we are bereft in his absence. If you’re out there, please answer and make our day (wouldnt take much, its been raining and I`ve sanded the bedroom floor, wiped it down with white spirit, given it two coats of varnish, hand sanded with 240 grade paper and given it a final coat. Not to mention taping up the wardrobe and adjoining rooms, moving all the furniture out and back, arranging the temporary deportation of a German Shephard to a 75th birthday party 150 miles away, sleeping on a mattress in the back room and cooking dinner in 3cm of dust in the kitchen flooded by a leaking toilet in the flat upstairs and the BCR was cancelled due to extreme wussiness of forum members on the one morning I was gagging for it due to the abject failure of my second dust mask and the absence of Mrs Jetstream. That said the floor is an art installation and not too far from the Ace so maybe I can recoup some pride and kudos by offering viewings prior to the long awaited ride out to the “Hell Fire Caves and the Vale of the White Horse” 13/9/08 12.00 noon from the Ace or a little earlier if you PM for a viewing and a decent coffee)

Got to close, dinner`s ready details to follow.

Lovely, hot smoked Scottish salmon, tomato shallot and basil salad with balsamic vinegar and truffle oil dressing with a superfluous lemon wedge on the side.

Lamb steaks withe chestnut mushroom, shallot and garlic garnish, redcurrant and thyme jelly, mashed potato and tenderstem broccoli.

Wine: Kulapelli vinyard (Maipo valley Chile) cabernet sauvignon carmenere, reserva especial 2007 (3 bottles available)

NO F*****G PUDDING!!!

I`m out of here… Women are soooo fickle, just when you get to like one they dump a load of s**t on your head and call it dinner!!!

“Has he gone on holiday? We miss his words of wisdom.”

Feel my shockwaves!!

What absolute borrocks.

You’ve been far too busy sanding floors, etc., stuffing your face, drinking half decent wine and avoiding the TV licence inspector to miss me.

Anyway. Got the 'puter invaded by a dose of the clap and then me and Mrs. O went to Cornwall. Jolly nice, thankyou, except for the iffy weather.

Anyway. A few pounds lighter (weight and money), tanned to a light mahogany colour, up and running again.

Nice to see you back!

Glad to hear you had a good holiday in Cornwall. We went to Nordkapp. Looking forward to your posts again.

Do you fancy a ride to the Hellfire caves on 13 Sept?

The backs a little more pale than light mahogany, but it’s not that bad, thanks.

We didn’t get a sun-tan at all - not unusual in Nordkapp. Good to hear about yours though.
