Oh My God!!!

Just went out to the bike, to play with my new Optimate charger, haven’t ridden the bike for at LEAST 2 weeks…The key was in the ignition, and no steering lock. WTF??? LOL.
:D:D:D:D:D:D

Lucky girl!!! :w00t::w00t::w00t: I used to leave the key in my R1 all the time, I think it’s got something to do with senility ;)

Senility, sounds about right… due to stress me thinks :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow, that was lucky. You must live in a good/quiet area!

It is parked in the shed… gypsy camp not too far away from the field i back onto, lol…even funnier!!

Hopefully means you won’t make that mistake again

Oh done you! :w00t: Bit silly doneing that

Lucky girl!

Very lucky, you must live in a nice area.

Senility, sounds more like a blonde moment. :D:P

You ninny! Course, none of us have ever done that…:Whistling:

Tut Tut!!! Mine woz in my seat cowl lock!!!:w00t:

I’ve done that before. I went to put the keys in the drawer where they kept and I didn’t have them but I’d just ridden home so they were obviously somewhere. So I went back to the bike and they were in the under seat lock.

It usually happens when something distracts you from your routine.

I did that once too!
I was about to go on holiday for a week and decided to hide away all of my keys.
I couldnt find the bike key and after about half an hour of checking pockets etc, I checked the bike and found the key in the ignition under the cover. :w00t:

would have made a good christmas pressy for some scum bag :hehe:

lucks on your side

You must have been mega stressed to do that. Good job it was in the shed and not on view.:w00t:

lucky it didnt get nicked…

getting old :stuck_out_tongue:

If they’re going to go to the trouble of looking in your shed, I don’t think it would make much difference whether the keys are there or not, if they want the bike they will have it and hotwire it if need be.

The important thing is to attach it to a ground anchor set in concrete, using an Almax chain.

PLANK:D

hahaha, well said :w00t:

I’ve done it, luckily with an extra layer of security in place. Forgiven but warned, eh?
