How about trying to organize your meet on a different night hunny? x

Oakdene is a meet on a Wednesday night that has been running for many years, alot longer than borough and its right down in Kent for those of us who don’t live so close to London. 
Considering its an ‘official’ meet there’s not many mods/staff that turn out to it on a regular basis. I’ll be at borough though
Yep and this site is London bikers and we have our own meets that have been running for years, just at different venues We are trying to promote BMM as it’s summertime now and it would be good to get the old Cubana feel back into Wednesday nights.
I’m up at BMM most Weds after college (I get up there for about 9:30/ 10pm) … It would be good to see you again, it’s been too long.
the trouble with BMM is that on a hot summer night the last thing people want to do is come INTO london central … fresh air is whats needed …
move it out in the summer , back in in winter when it’s a lot warmer in town …
if it dosn’t **** down i’ll be down the oakdene or mind you that was good at the Turpin last night may skip weds and do tuesday instead …
i have never seen you at BMM lusty … ? …and i’ve been at least 3 times …
i think i’ll do both tonight.
start off with a little oakdene then have a bit of BM to finish off en route to work.

Not me i actually enjoy BM in the Summer…Come on people as Lusty has said this is the “Official” meet for LB and it has always (well as long as i have been going) been on a wednesday. And seeing as this is the forum for LB it kinda makes sence. It doesn’t help things if people try and organise a meet on the same night it just dilutes the attendance. Appreciate that Oakdene is closer and easier to get to for those of you in Kent but thats surely even more reason to go somewhere else thats not on your door step you could go to anytime.In the winter i can understand the choice of somewhere warmer and maybe with an area to sit indoors like the Ace, but while the weather is good BM is the place to be ;)Hopefully see yourself and Mel down at BM again soon.
I don’t agree about Borough not being ideal - Okay it’s not ideal for some however being fairly central - Central London - it’s ideal as a venue for people to get to. Many members work in town and head there after work. It’s Londonbikers afterall…:)The problem is that there isn’t that many places suitable for meets. Borough has it’s faults and isn’t perfect however it’s got a good atmosphere - especailly in the summer. Parking is cramped and food outlets could be more numerous but on the whole I like it - food is better than some places I could mention…:)Lusty like the rest of us attend these and other meets as often as other life commitments allow - just like everyone else so next time you’re down say hello - don’t stop on 3 though keep coming…And as for a ride in - some people like it others don’t however l stay a bit later and the ride out of town at night can be a blast…However at the end of the day people can go / meet where they please but for the forum we’d prefer / will give ‘our’ meet a bit more of a profile…
Personally, I much prefer Borough over Oakdene anyway and its where my friends are at I was just pointing out that the Wednesday oakedene meet is a very old meet.

it may be london bikers but not central london bikers , and as london spreads pretty much as far as the M25 … BMM has it’s female viewing good points in summer agreed
