Nurburgring

Hi

Sorry not been on since August, broked me legs but can get to puta now, so… if anyone is looking to go to Nurburgring I took a few mates over there this year in July.

Return Ferry crossing and 4 nights bed n breakfast was £136 per person sharing a twin or £176 for your own room, all had private bath/shower and really comfy beds. English speaking lady married to German who was also an award winning chef. Drink cheap, service great, rooms lovely, massive garden and beautiful views, plus half an hour ride from the ‘ring’ down roads as fast as you like (only 1 police person spotted during whole trip and they were on foot).

Mate suggested a route which was easy to follow.

Any of you want any of the details of ferries, hotel or route let me know I’ll send it on to you (once I get home next week)

Bloody hell mate, what happened to you? Sorry to change the subject…

Sounds like a cool trip.

So about those legs… how the, what the…

Set well soon!

Lol, seems I’m safer on 2 wheels than 4, normal stuff, some twit shot out from road on my left, in wrong gear then slowed to practically nothing, wet and muddy road, I tried to avoid em, shot across the road whizzed up a verge, across a right turning, up the verge into a bank - sweet!! Was only doing about 20mph (seriously) broke right ankle joint - had it pinned and 3 metatarsals in left foot, folded steering wheel in half with me face. Dad was sooooo glad he’d lent me his car whilst mine got serviced (oops).

Next time I’ll just hit the bugger.

Bugger. Well at least it’s winter time and you’re not going to miss too much

I wish, don’t commute, but do ride for fun all year round (59000 miles in 5 years). You’d be surprised how many dry days I’m watching through the window - but there’s worse fates and it means I’ve saved a front tyre, 2 back tyres and loadsa fuel money so I can have a few track days when I’m up and about - whheeeee heeeeeeee

Sorry to hear about the legs, glad you are on the mend. Some of those roads around the ring are as good as the ring itself. I can’t wait to get back out there for another crack at it.

Where’ve you been Chuf? Long time no nothing
