That is truly awful. It’s one thing driving like and idiot and injuring someone - but to then drive off and claim the car is stolen without a thought for the poor girl she’d left dying is really, really evil. 9 months is way, way to short for this sort of crime.

The Courts really do need to sort themselves out, how are people going to take any notice if this is all they are going to be charged with.
So you kill someone in a car with no insurance no license, deny it and divert the course of justice and get 9 months…but get caught speeding on an open A road and get 18months… F*cking disgraceful.

What the hell is happening in England? I mean, you guys USED to really know how to punish people…this type of sentence is just LAUGHABLE…it all but ENCOURAGES people to break the law…I completely don’t understand the mindset over there. shrug
