This is the first BSB weekend this year that I’m not at the track.
So, I dutifully buy the TV guide ahead of time to check when its gonna be broadcast, cos I KNOW ITV have the rights…
THE EVIL SCUM SUCKING SPAWN OF MONEY GRABBING TOADS are putting it onto ITV4…
What the hell is the point of having the rights, paying millions for them, then hiding it on one of their subsid Channels WITH HARDLY ANY VIEWERS…and more importantly…WHERE I CAN’T SEE IT!!!
Can anyone advise me on whether I can get ITV4 feeds online at all? Do BSB do a similar telly thing like MotoGP or WSB where you buy a day pass and watch online…does anyone who lives near Streatham or christ even the London area (I have a bike) have ITV4 and I can come and watch through your front window…?
As someone who works in TV, I truly apologise for the stupidity and greed of ITV’s management…in the mean time, can any one help?
Quick! get your ass down to Dixons or somewhere and grab a freeview box for 25 sheets! Problem solved. But yer hiding it on ITV4 is not great while showing the flintstones on ITV1, endless ricky lake shows on ITV2 and Death on the nile on ITV3. Their contempt for their sports viewers is highly evident, and is often on display during their so called F1 coverage…

I’ve actually found ITV4 online…however, it has a message saying “nothing available til 6pm” which is precisely when the scheduled TV broadcast window stops…
Does anyone know… Does this mean its subscription only? The BSB coverage ISN’T available via the online service (for whatever reason)? Or ITV are just stupid?

Oh and before anyone suggests, ALL ITV Duty Desks, help lines and Viewer Experience Trained Assistance Related Staff Points of Action are closed on Bank Holidays… great huh…like people STOP watching ITV just cos its a holiday…there are enough people out there who would work on a Bank Holiday cos they need the work, when is the British Service industry going to wake up to

Bank bloody holiday… bank workers work the shortest hours out of any industry in Britain…they saunter in at 10 and go home at 4:30…name ONE other industry apart from train drivers that have it THAT easy…
You guys rock, and yes I am a tight Ar$e but then again, its not money that’s stopped me buying it, its the fact that for 1 or 2 weekends of BSB, all that crap TV just isn’t worth it really…
Yeah thanks SheWoolf, that suggestion already came down the line, but what with it being Bank Holiday an all…not many shops open round my part that have boxes…Streatham’s still a bit backwards though…
Seems ruddy ITV is as well, all their “online tv feeds” are either unavailable or just don’t work at all…
Honestly customer service in this country is like it used to be in Germany 30 years ago.
No one’s accountable any more, so no one lives up to ANY standard of service. Its the fundamental flaw with Britain today…no one cares enough to do a good job any more, and those that are supposed to cos they’re paid to be the responsible one’s have lawyers and excuses and golden handshakes when they screw everything up. The staff follow the lead of the “leaders” who run with as many shares and stock options and 6 figure salaries as they can…who sets the standards these days?
It’s a pain that they shifted it to ITV4 like that, but on the upside, they gave a lot more coverage on the support races than they would have had on ITV1.
