Epping forest/high beech is the preferred spot I suppose and only 15 minutes away
Often wondered this myself, but it does have the reputation of being used by both police and doggers.

I heard (but not 100% sure how true) that it used to be a popular meeting point for big drug deals and also lots of kids on stolen bikes getting over the fields from that point, so that’s why it has a high police presence.
