Not a bad nite out, only got back in 15 min ago 
Not often you come back with more money than you went, won £56 on the poker, came 10th out of 79 players
Then i won abit on the black jack. Went out with £100 come back with £160 which aint bad considering i paid £20 to play poker and id been buying drinks too
With you on this one ASBO. Just as long as it’s for fun. Had a great evening at the Hotel Caterina Casino in Gran Canaria last year. Steadily losing at roulette all night and about to chuck the towel in then my wife told me to put what we had left on one number. It came up- great feeling and it paid for the hotel bill for the weekend.
Not so good if you get addicted to gambling- I reckon everyone else in that casino was addicted- and they all had loads more to gamble with- we’re talking piles of 100 euro chips disappearing down the shute. At breakfast the next day some of them looked as if they had literally lost every bean…slightly depressing really.
Yeah i know what you mean. I only realy go for the poker and then i only spend £20 playing it. You can re-buy in for the first 90min and you get some people that just keep throwing there money across the table. There was something like 157 re-buys last nite. Was well impressed with myself for not having to re-buy in at all and getting to the final table. You get to have an add on at the end of the first 90min where you get 2,000 chips for a tenner, seeing as everyone else on my table was doing it though i may aswell.
One of my mates made it to second place and won £530… first place got £1,059
Sounds like you did well there. Only been to a few casinos and never so far gone beyond my self-determined limit. I always go in thinking that I’m going to spend this x amount of cash (and I do expect to lose all of it) and crucially I am going to leave the casino at y time. I’ve done okay sticking by this rule.
I’m looking for a good fun non-members-only Casino in London…can you recommend any?
I normaly set myself a limit of £100 and leave my cards at home so if i lose it all i cant get anymore out, ive never actualy lost it all yet though… oh yeah and thats for my drinks too
Dont know any in london mate, i go to one in birmingham with my civi mates when im back up this way.
