Hi all, I am sounding out riders on this forum and others with a view to organising a rideout from Northampton on Sunday 13th July.
I propose a rideout covering c. 120 - 150 mls round throught the wonderfully twisty and undulating roads of rural Northamptonshire.
We will meet in the car park of the Queen Eleanor pub in Northampton.
Directions: From roundabout at top of slip road at J15 of the M1 northbound, take third exit onto the A45 London Road and proceed northwards for c 2 miles.
Exit up slip road to large roundabout at junction of A45, A508 and B526.
Take 4th exit off roundabout onto B526 and the turnoff to the Queen Eleanor car park is c. 250 yds on right.
Please meet at 10.00 am on the morning of Sunday 13th July and I anticipate being back in Northampton for c. 2.00 pm including stops.

We now have positive responses from a number of riders and so the rideout on Sunday 13th July is now a definite fixture. 
Anyone interested in in an exiting blast along a mixture of fast flowing and twisty rural roads with a couple of extreme features, including in places, breathtakingly rapid changes in elevation :w00t:, should assemble at 10.00 am in the car park of the Queen Eleanor Pub in Northampton, on the A428 Newport Pagnell Road approximately 200 yards from the junction with the A45.
The weather forecast is dry with sunny intervals.
The distance we will cover will be c. 125 miles and we shall be stopping in a picturesque market town for lunch. 
The ride will be conducted at a brisk, but socially responsible pace and we will practice the ‘drop off’ method to ensure that no-one gets lost.
We should be back in Northampton c. 2.00 pm. 
To anyone who decided at the last minute not to join us on Sunday, you missed a great ride and the opportunity to test yourself against one of the most demanding series of bends in the East Midlands, our very own ‘corkscrew’, the descent of Edgehill at Sunrising :w00t:.
