South is always best.

It’s the direction sensible people head for their holidays, summer and winter.
People naturally prefer to face in a southerly direction, it where the sun shine from.
The north wind is bitter, cold and unkind. The south wind is warm comforting and seductive.
People from the north always aspire to be southerners, which is why they are full of vitriol from the inner hatred at being from the north and find their only recourse to spew bitter words forth to the laid back, cool people from the south; e.g. It’s always northerners who start North v South polls.

South Lahndon, but “Oop Norf” if you mean proper north and not north London (which, by the by, is just some kinda funky vortex thing full of people with weirdy accents :stuck_out_tongue: ).

being born and bred ( up till about 5 years old ) in Ticehurst ( well within the " garden of England " ) I’ve gotta say south !!

Although gotta say ( as much as I hate to admit it ) that the Northerners are far more " hospitable " than Southerners generally
