Some muppets have put temporary lights right at the top of Finchley Road with !%!£$!^ phasing which are causing a 2+ mile tailback towards Hendon
With the narrow lanes on that stretch & the lorries/buses in all 3 lanes, filtering/making any progress is pretty much a non-runner…

I believe it’s at the Esso garage, where the A41 joins Finchley Road
I have to ride through it every day. Did you notice if it said how long the lights would be there? I guess I should look at an alternative route to Baker Street though.
There seem to be loads of roadworks everywhere all of a sudden. Do they all get their new council budgets in January or something?
It seems they’ve at least gone back to the normal lights and sequence, so not as bad as it was before.
Ya, it’s all grand again - they’ve rephased the temporary lights thankfully…

They’ve balls’d this junction up again. Temp lights have gone back in and they’re only allowing one direction at a time = big queue’s all round. Depending how free the bus lane is travelling North, it’s not all that easy to filter round either.
