that is rather amazingly epic. I wouldn’t fancy the breakdowns you’d have though. coming up from south america it’s got to be annoying thinking you could turn right for new york but instead have to go all the way to alaska and back!

Only ever done part of the Pan Americia highway through Central America, that was scary enough. Notice on their map there is a dotted line, which is the Darien Gap between Panama and Colombia. There is no road through it, there used to be, but it is totally inaccesable Jungle these days and infested with armed gangs of bandits and all kind of ner do wells.
That looks the dogs…overlanded from Nairobi to Capr town last year on a bus - would love do something similar on a bike - especially with some back up. Anyone got a spare £8k?
