I’m very happy with my carbon Nexx. Looks great and works very well.
My gripes, and there are only 2.
1: why oh why the screws for the visor? Quick release would have been better. Yes the screws are lighter but the ease of the quick release would be a better option over the weight.
2: my other gripe(and this might be just mine) the cargo type netting under the chin has broken already except the elasticated band, so every time I put the lid on, it catches my chin then slaps the soft bit under my nose… 
fuuuuuukin annoying.
Other than that, the lid is perfect.
Would I buy another ?

So I’m in the market for a new lid and I’d be very interested to try out a Nexx helmet…
…Do I have to come all the way up to the Wirral just to try on out?!? Surely there’s a shop in London that stocks them…
I think their website shows the head sizes per lid size. You could try mine on. It’s a large. Mine also came with a pack of stick on pads to customise the fit even further

That customer service seems pretty good!
Only problem with someone trying on an already used lid is that the cushioning would have moulded to the riders head, possibly making it feel bigger that it is.
Having done a bit of research I’m a little bit suspicious about these lids… There’s only one review from a mainstream press and it’s so positive it seems almost too good to be true…
Plus as far as I know there’s no racing pedigree behind them… With an Arai or Shoei you know it’s serious gear because the racers have bounced along the road in it and it’s done the job of protecting the head nicely.

Maybe they should look at sponsoring a couple of club racers to see how they rate it against the arai and Shoei

I had an X-lite 602 which was involved in a recent crash so currently considering the Shoei XR 1100 vs Arai Chaser V…looks like it’s going to be the Arai for me though…
my shoei xr 1100 is only 2 months old and is sh&te, when I close my visor it makes noise like a whistle, I checked everything but still the same. Comfy but not recommended.
Hmmm I’ve got two of these lids and not had that problem.
First things first, have you put the visor in ‘lock’ mode and not in the mode where it has a little gap open to let air in? secondly try pressing the visor down when you’re wearing the lid and if it still happens take it back to the shop. I remember the guy telling me that sometimes the rubber deteriorates and rubbing a bit of silicone gel on it makes it expand and seal better…
