Newby to bikes and roads..!

Just saying hi!

Passed my CBT on Sunday, would have liked to have done it over the course of a weekend rather than just all in one day. Never driven a car or bike so know nothing.

Always on the back of a bike thought it was about time I was at the front.

I must say being on the back now feels different and I don’t like it as much.

I now wont (need) my own bike but have to find one for my size. I like sports bikes but for now looking for 125 for small 5ft Dobby. With short legs.
I don’t like the upright bikes so much, but need some road time and practise before jumping on a beast.

I will be doing my restricted in a few months.

hi and welcome

Ello ello Dr Death…

Thanks for telling me about this site, everyone is very welcoming.

On the look out now for my first bike might go for the Honda cbr Repsol 125 for now until I do My restricted.

May still have to have it modified for my little legs and arms :stuck_out_tongue:

If you see any for sale that look good let me know:D

Hello and welcome - I am also 5ft so know how hard it is to get a bike that fits - but my R6 is lovely and can just touch floor with seat cut out.

hi and welcome

R6babe
I know! I look at all the bike’s and think I want that one, and that one, and that one, and then find I cant sit on anything and my arms are short too

I have decided to get a 125 for a little while get used to the roads and the handling of a bike before I think of getting what I want. Even then I will have to have the seat cut, I heard that can be done and I think I can get it lowered just a notch… not sure what can be done about handles bars? oh god this means I may have to settle for just a push bike!

See any good 125’s for sale anyone! feel free to send me Picture and price of any!
