Newbies, newbies, newbies..

to be honest we’re all pretty recognisable and if you look through the galleries you can see who is who. cripes knows how many times folks have come up to me and said “you’re Sincere aren’t you??..i recgonised you from the galleries” it also takes some part on the newbies to say hi - “I’m new”, as sometimes (i find) you get deep into convresation with someone who you haven’t seen for a little while and forget to make sure that folks are all introduced to each other.

i am sure the LB staff are generally of the same opinion.

That ll be nice Shall i PM you closer to the time

yeah no worries tag along

I know what you’re saying about it being a bit daunting when your new to somewhere and don’t know anyone. Hubby and I were going to go to our first BMM on Wednesday, but by the time I’d got home, and he had collected me from the station and we’d done a bloody horrible ‘car’ journey to Staples Corner to pick up my Starcom unit that poxy Citylink couldn’t deliver properly the evening was getting on!

But, tmrw hubby has a day off so is getting up early (bless him) to escort me to Ludgate Circus (not sure of the route yet from home) on our bikes so that I can travel in next Wed by bike to then come on down to BM - can’t wait!!!

Hope we can pluck up the courage to actually speak to some people when we get there :hehe:

IMO 1,000+ posts in 5 months classes you as a proper member

I could meet you at the Angel too  see? loadsa helpful people  Q

I think as a new person you do have to make the first move and just go up and say hello. I have found it daunting, having to push my way into conversations between people who already know each other or accost people who are on their own:P:D, but have done two meets and one newbie meet now, it does gradually get easier :):). It’s easier actually getting to know people if you can do a ride out with them, as that seems to break the ice a bit.

It will be easier if i had a bigger bike to do a ride out with people;). At the moment i have a YBR125 and its a replacement bike so i got to take it easy

Well i shall start butting in conversation next Wed :w00t::hehe:

Oh Quiller thank you for the offer :D:)

either that or i havent been too busy at work recently
