I had a red 04 R1 (as in my avatar) but I did ‘borrow’ a friend’s new R1 for a quick test ride one afternoon! I’ve moved to New York now though so your safe, lol.

I’m bikeless at the moment but will get one in Spring. Test riding the new BMW S1000RR in the next few weeks :w00t: Will then decide if it’s that or new R1 
BMW S1000RR beats the R1 hands down, its cross between the ZX10R and R1.
Its been rated in all mags, but TBH i would get the R1 just coz of the Cross -plane crankshaft:D
I bet the BMW servicing cost is ££££
