What sort of bike are you considering? Riding experience? Are you vertically challenged :Whistling: ? Budget? A bit more info might get some realistic suggestions otherwise you’ll get everyone recommending their own bikes… personally I’d say NC30s (VFR400R) are great, but don’t get one - I like the fact that they aren’t all that common 
If you come along to BMM on a Wednesday you can check out a few of the bikes there and see if anything takes your fancy. Whatever bike you decide on, be safe.

hi and welcome hope that you will enjoy your biking and this lot are very good and easy to talk to and as for the advice they are the mutts, the other thing people might want to ask you is what type i.e. retro(naked) , sports, tourer or cruiser as for me i have an old cbr600 i did have a bandit 1200 but was a pain riding into central london so swapped for a sports tourer but anyway have fun and ride safe.
