Just wondering if anybody can give me any pointers for possible back protectors I could buy.
So I own quite a good alpinestar jacket, which has shoulder and elbow protection built in. Does anyone know if something like the knox cross shirt (http://www.knox-armour.co.uk/product.html?product=crossshirt) would be too much underneath quite a heavy duty jacket? my shoulders would probably end up looking humongous…
should i perhaps go for something like this instead?

any suggestions and advice would be of great help…
i know there’s debate about wether to even get one, but £100 aint much to spend, even if it was to save you from a few more potential injuries!
thanks
I have the forcefield (http://www.forcefieldbodyarmour.co.uk/back_protector_sport.asp), which is “soft” but is supposed to give as much protection as the harder type.
If fits fine under my leathers and textiles, it’s also multi-use (good thing as I use it for snowboarding too), and would definitely recommend it.
thanks for the tip…looks like that one has won quite a few awards and stuff and comes highly recommended!
cheers
Another Force Field here , one thing I found , I normally go for a large size as Im 6ft3 , but I found the XL when I tilted my head back hit the top of the pad and the lady at the show said better to go for the smaller size as it could break my neck in the event of a crash !
Its great when it warms up as it molds to your back !
yeh they only have three sizes by the looks of things…
im 5"10…was gonna go for a medium, but so do u think i should go for a small in that case?
I saw Infinity at Bikesafe and they measured you up and told you what sizw is best for you.
Forcefield, not fallen off since I`ve had one.
Try em on mate with you lid also and see !
