New Tyres

Didn't think mixing was illegal though as that article says kcoops
Its only illegal to mix tyres of different construction types in some front/rear configurations.

Went with Michelin Pilot Road 3 in the end. The chaps at FWR were advising going for the Pilot Power 3 as they are sport bike tyres and much quicker and better suited. But don’t like making spur of the moment decisions so stuck to what I looked up.

Oh thanks for the link ShaunC will be getting £30 back

Being ‘much quicker’ just refers to the tyres speed rating, the PR3’s will be fine in this respect. Being ‘better suited to a sports bike’ doesn’t make too much sense since tyre performance, and therefore suitability, relies on the surface and environment where they’re used rather than the mo’cycle they’re fitted to.

PR3’s are a good choice.
