Got taken out by a drunk driver last Thursday. Been in Kings hospital and have a broken foot, 30 stiches on the same foot and possible knee damage. Back at home now and very bored in bed.
Bike has a bent footpeg. from where my foot pushed it backwards.
I understand from the attending police that the bloke was arrested. I now plan to get as much money out of the pri*k as I can.

I’m generally against physical punishment, but in cases like these I do feel there’s a good argument that you should be allowed to go round to their place, drunk and armed with a tonne of metal, and be allowed a few seconds’ to show them at first hand the consequences of their actions.
know how you feel and yes day time Tv will drive you crazy especially the adverts which go on forever…you will be so glad to get back to work when you do…

Re daytime TV, the Jeremy Kyle Show can be quite entertaining, watching the pond life on that is better than going to a zoo!

Cheers Mate:D Thank you for all the support and for the PM with the bike solicitors details. Going to immediatly look at new leathers, boots, foot guard, mushrooms and a right hand panel. Thats what I need right now, will go and check the bike out in detail tomorrow to see if there is anything else that needs doing.Off to see the consultant tomorrow to see what other damage there is.
