"New" ride - little green bogey.

Well, an opportunity came up to get my hands on this little green bogey and I couldn’t resist.

2008 P8F with 3k miles, Akrapovic slip on and some R&G goodies. Coming from my trusty BMW F800R and having not ridden a sports bike in two years, my first impressions are of speed, smoothness and uncomfort, and not in that order! :smiley:

And a massive thank you to Rob (Rixxy’s pal) for getting it running and sorting out the MOT at such short notice, with such speed, and at such reasonable cost.

Kawasaki’s design dept really got their act together with the B1H and kept up the good work with this model - lovely looking bike :slight_smile:

I had one, best bike for the money and I thought it was more comfortable than many other supersports/bikes. The R6 of the same era felt much less engaging, and the finish / attention to detail on this bike is superb (wavey discs, contoured tank infills and sweet looking front and back) not to mention bonkers rev limit.

Mine got killed and I’ve switched to a k7 gsxr 750 but some days I wish I hadn’t…

Rob seems to be converting a lot of people to Kawasaki’s - I also just picked up one (though not in green), after having seen his one! :smiley:
