Loving the black one! Although I’d personally have the white and red one! 
Someone has been using ‘Paint’ to cover the lights up on the blue R6 and didn’t do a very good job…

Gees, Hennessey man you are observant, obviously R6 obsessed, and understandably so, I found these images on a yank site,wasn’t my photoshop job
I like the look of it, especially in race-trim, though it’s very expensive compared to the competition (a birdie told me £8k?! That’s 750, nearly 1000 money, must be Valentino’s wages being paid). Not sold on the exhaust either, have to wait until we see more aftermarket alternatives.

Rumour has it that it will be priced at £7600 ish. Apparently it should cost about 1500 quid more than this years effort but Yam did a survey and asked what people would be prepared to pay for it. It will still put it at more money than the other 600’s and the question has to be asked, ‘On the road is it any better’. From initial reports its not really unless its at the top end. How often (sensibly) do you ride at the top end of your rev range? Its a great looking bike with some nice touches and bristling with technology. I loved it when I sat on it at the show. Have to agree that it looks best in black and much better with that silly number plate hanger off it.
£7600!! Georgous bike, in Black but at that price I think Mr. Suzuki will get a visit instead next year. We’ll see though, I’m torn between that and the new Gixxer

Jay, I’m not too keen on that Akrapovic exhaust system that is on the R6 Race Bike, looks to me like they’ve just slapped it on last minute not giving a crap how it looks. Its all bent and doesn’t fit the shape of the bike at all… I’m sure Yoshimura will think of something to better it… Unless Akrapovic decides to make a decent exhaust that actually compliments the new R6!
At £7600 though is quite steep, going into the 750 price ranges really. I suppose its the technology your paying for, and the response it gives… Would be good to see how different my 04 R6 is to this fly-by-wire version. Will have to wait and see I suppose

This is what I love about the tail piece on this bike, well the fact that you can just whack it off with no hasstle. I must agree with Jay that the exhaust is a little pants really and would be nice to see some decent aftermarket products.
and it looks like thats the actual race exhaust their going for! Just been on the Yamaha Racing website and the kit you can buy for the R6 Race Bike is that Akrapovic one… Which is crap IMO!!!

Great bike. Is it me or does it look like they’ve bolted on an extra piece of plastic sweeping down both sides as a bit of an after though?
Say what you like and I’m very probably biased but the pre-injector bike was better looking than anything they’ ve come up with since.

And obviously Chris you’ll say that because we all know you loved that bike dearly! Where as me on the other hand is going to be more biased against my model of the R6, although I am seriously loving up the 2006 version!
