I’m thinking what decals I want to replace the Monster energy decals.
I’m not 100% sold on having it as a monster rep like this one as it’s going to be different colours, I was thinking relentless decals but not sure, what would people suggest?

If it wasn’t all in primer I would just say Fook It!! And go get it now and not bother with the respray.

I hate the train and it is really getting me down, I don’t think I would normally be bothered about the bike taking a little longer than expected, but it is completely magnified by the horror that is my daily commute on the tube!!
I’d certainly recommended avoiding this as an option, mind you would make for some fun conversions !!!

The bike is now all painted in orange 
It’s being masked up and painted black tomorrow and the decals going on it on Friday and being lacquered, if all goes to plan I’ll have her back Saturday

Are you getting them to put SKB Racing on the wheel rim pinstripes?
seems a bit strange that all parts are back on bike before finishing painting and laquer ,just making the job more difficult imo,looking good though,you sorting the pipe out or leaving it how it is.
It’s all back together so they can mask off the areas that will be black and ensure that it all lines up. its only temporarily back together during that period. They are doing it all Orange and lacquering it then doing the black and Lacquering as they said that will avoid the lines and keep it all flat, then they will sticker it up and do the 3rd Coat of Lacquer.
I’m going to leave the pipe as it is but wrap it in Carbon Fibre Di-Noc like I had it before, and save up for a Carbon fibre sleeve from Yoshimura and re-sleeve it at 3/4 length rather than 1/2 Length. The carbon Fibre sleeve Is £300 so need to see if I can get a full can from ebay cheaper.
I agree it’s a lot of messing about but it will give the best finish possible.
After seeing it today I was so tempted to leave it all orange again, but I may aswell do what I wanted, if I don’t like it I can just sell it and buy a new one

I’ve hit a stumbling block!
The decal people sent through their quote for the graphics. £249 +VAT.
I’ve told them to just paint the black stripes and I will get the decals put on at a later date.
So, I will be getting it back Saturday but without the decals. Probably get them done elsewhere. As that price is crazy for what is essentially a couple of pin stripes!!
How to add your own stripes.
Maybe worth to get in touch with Big D as he could have some tips for you or point you to someone else.
