Whilst I’ve been signed up for a few months with London Bikers I haven’t actually got round to introducing myself on this forum, as per expected. Worse still, I haven’t even visited the Cubana Bar in Waterloo, which is even more appalling, given that I only work less than a mile way from this thriving Wednesday night meeterie!
Speaking of old gits as one of the other new members implied that he was, I would say the same accurate description applies to myself also, so he’s not alone in that respect. However it’s amazing what a dark visor does for your age, especially if you never take your helmet off. In fact I’m even wearing mine now at work as I (two finger) type, and can safely nut the keyboard and monitor to take out any pent-up frustration that I might acquire during the coure of the normal working day. This method is second only to riding a bike of course, which let’s face it is why I’m here on this forum in the first place.
Must go now, as I need to plan a trip down to Waterloo one Wednesday evening (I promise!).
Give over, Salee, I just looked at your website (cool vases by the way!) and there’s some young dolly sitting there grinning. If you class as old, I’m bleedin’ prehistoric!
And welcome to the site, jatexup, but watch out for Da Artist who will beat you up with those crutches until he gets a walking stick and then he’ll probably thwack you with that as well.
See you at the next Newbie meet (some time in November? Dunno, just guessing).
Hope to see you on a rideout or meet at some point; check out the rideouts section for all the info - Flats ride to Portsmouth this weekend; the Lads night out next Friday (13th) and all the other mid week gatherings.
and there’s some young dolly sitting there grinning…are you having a laff choc muff ???..welcome to the site…you only as old as you feel…and i try to feel a couple of young ones as much and as often as possible…
joezx12r, it’s all relative. I’m a lot closer to that “biker chick” on another thread even if I wear longer shorts than that. And none of the smileys are wrinkly enough…
