WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I got a new bike today… a Suzuki Bandit 600s…:smiley:
Some of you might have read that my GS500 broke down during the week…and that I bought an engine on Ebay…and so I went and picked it up this morning, and there was plenty of reason why the picture was so dark…the thing was a complete shambles.

So, me better half and I lugged it home. I set about taking it apart for its insides, but got utterly pissed off.
At which point, me better half got pissed off too, and so he took me bike shopping!!
We saw the Bandit, and he said I could have it :w00t: So I did!! :smiley:

So the deal is, I take my time over fixing Mole and my other little 125, and I learn to take pillion ridiers (cos he doesn’t ride…yet).

I get to pick the bandit up next weekend (or earlier if I can persuade my boss for a day off).

I don’t know yet Slarty…I don’t know the number plate yet! It will have to begin with Y though. :P:)

I was thinking I would swap the fly screens, but now you’ve reminded me that you need one, and I do have a small one already on the Bandit…perhaps you’d like the bubble? …I’ll need to practise riding on the Bandit (it’s slightly taller and a lot heavier than the 500)- I could bring it to you soon (2 weekends away). I would never abandon the GS though, she got me through too much! The least I can do is restore her to her former glory. :wink:

Well, I name all my bikes based on the sound of the number plate, so my GS is Mole, and My gilera was Suzy… so the bandit is UGN… and the first thing I thought of was Eugene. It’s a kinda quirky name though, and a blokes name…where as I tend to think of bikes as female. But this bike is huge, so maybe a blokes name would work! :slight_smile:

Thats a very nice looking bike Debz…What about black ones with dragons on the side, eh? eh? Go-faster dragons are pretty quick!:wink: Debz, did you put those crash bungs on your Bandit? If so, do you know where I can get some, and are they easy to fit? I’m petrified of dropping mine, what with all that engine sticking out.
