RIght, you may know I’ve dropped the old clanger and utterly ballsed up the farings, but fundamentally that’s fine, that bike is mine til she dies. No probs. HOWEVER, I need to get new indicators and I’d like to get new one’s cos the originals are pretty damm ugly.
Do you buy new indicators based on the bike, or are they a generic product that new indicators fit any bike (within reason obviously) ie this range of indicators fit Kwaks, or this range of indicators ONLY fit the E6R-F for example?
Anyone give me any good points as to where I can find some, apart from Google or eBay? Are there any good production companies that people can recommend? Before I start an amateur search with no information…
aftermarket indicators as a whole are generic unless otherwise stated.
The problems you will have are twofold
most are a different shape/size to the OEM ones and so you will likely need something like an indy spacer
if you go LED, they need a resistor to keep the flash rate normalised. Some come with it built in, most do not so you’ll also need to either bodge it yourselfor buy something like indy leads. indy leads are bike Make specific.
pretty much any bike shop will have a selection but it’s worth having a look around as there are literally hundreds of styles, so find something you like.
