Sat on the new Honda GL1800 Gold Wing last weekend, needed a small box to climb on and off of it

Really? Were you sat on the back seat? I sat on a friends R1200 last week and that has a tall seat, by comparison my wing feels low and easy to get my feet down.

Could be that the ride height was up to max, the setting for two plus luggage. Makes quite a difference. When set to the standard setting (lowest) you get maximum peg scraping to give you that hero feeling :joy::joy:.
