I tried him about a year ago. I wanted a design done, he said it would be £30 to do the design as it takes ages on his CAD machine and he would keep changing it till i got one i was happy with (which i was happy to pay) and it would be £300 for the actual printing and fitting but the £30 comes off of that. So i sent him £300 to get the ball rolling and then get a date booked in.
He started sending me designs and i didn’t like any of them, i told him what i wanted but he kept telling me it wouldn’t look right and to go with this design, he said he’d done loads of Suzuki’s like the ones he was sending me, i tried explaining i didn’t want the same as everyone else and i wanted it to be a one off. he kept sending me very generic designs and in the end i told him to leave it. I said to him i was happy for him to keep the £30 for the designs and an extra £20 for his troubles and to just refund me £250 rather than £270.
He went silent and wouldn’t reply to my emails then started insulting me on Facebook!! I told him that if he didn’t pay my money back i was going to got to small claims court. I contacted Paypal to get my money back but he asked me to pay it as a gift rather than services and that means i’m not covered by PayPal garauntees and couldn’t claim it back. He then sent me £100 and an email saying he can’t afford to pay me the full ammount, all the time on Facebook slagging me off and also posting pictures of all the work he was doing. I asked him if he was so busy why is he not paying my refund back?
In the end it took 3 and a half months to get a full refund!
But…
I can’t knock his work to be fair, credit where credit is due, he sent me a few decals and they were brilliant, but as a person and a business i would not recommend him to anyone!!

A general note peeps, if anyone asks you to pay on PayPal as a gift run a mile. It’s a well known technique by scammers as you surrender your rights paying in this way.
On the plus side Sam, Mian is a respected member of this forum and his artistic work speaks for itself. I can’t wait to see the finished article.
