I’ve been swapping emails with a guy called Moby who is the Editor of Fast Bikes magazine for a year or so now… talking about what bikes we’re riding, the TT and the roads we’re riding.
Anyway, I got an email today from him offering me some brand new bits for me bike as they had some bikes in the office but no R1 to stick them on…
So I managed to get these
for £200 and a £70 double bubble screen for £20 and he threw in some SBK 5 Carbone Lorraine pads for free!
Well chuffed… the screen will make loads of difference I reckon and it’ll be good to see how the rearsets suit me… if they dont I reckon I’ll get me money back on ebay… top notch…

Good result flloyd, getting cheap but good parts is always a bonus.
Nice rearsets Floyd but i would say that as i have the same ones on my K5 750.
I know a guy who gets them fabricated for his endurance race team. They may well be a very good copy but are only £130 quid.
If you need any other race parts i can give you his details.

Hopefully get these bits on at the weekend. Apparently you can set the rearsets to reverse shift as well as standard… might be interesting!
