you need a car licence for a quad.
and about the bike licence lol passed theory this morning got my mod1 on the 16th and when i pass that ill book my mod2 then carry on with my car lessons was 5 lessons in before i stopped =]
So…
To sum it up.
You have no bike licence,
No car licence, and a quad BIKE that you drive on a car licence…
So, in reality you are a car… Just dreaming of being a bike…

i am 1/3rd throw my bike test
i have a project quad that is not safe for the road atm so cant ride it even if i had a licence =]

the steering column is bent the plastics are broken the handle bars onit are to low and hit my knees so need higher bars that’s all i can think of off the top of my head.
went out to play on my road about a hour ago hehe its fun but scary with the bent column

I can’t tell if it looks bent because its bent and you’re being sarcastic or if you’ve straightened it but the photo is weird and making it look bent…

Yup. That’s a bent column. I’d be very careful about straightening a column. If you go that route get it done professionally by someone with a Motoliner jig. (The thing they use for straightening fork stanchions.)
I love quads and would own one but for the fact they are a bit like being the recipient of a haemorrhoids transplant. All the downsides of a motorcycle with none of the benefits.
Also a bit of a bugger to get GB road legal and get insurance on.
Well this is on hold haha was on my way to buy a new column when a lovely shiny 4x4 decided to give me a vacation.

As for insureance I for a quote for my dad he is low end of his 40s and its £150 to insure I say worth it for the odd bimble around trip to the tea hut and a few green lanes heheh
For me at 18 I have got a quote for 550 with just passing test and no car experience
