It was time for my beloved four year old Hornet to go, owned since new, and ridden year around it has served me well. Raced around track up and down the country. Toured far and wide. It was due a change though, and I’d been pondering on a replacement for a while.
Something that will commute daily into London from the Kent countryside. That I can take for a blast at the weekends. Will provide fun on the odd track day. And, be able to crunch miles in Europe with room for some luggage, whilst providing a little comfort.
Today I took the day off, test rode a KTM 990 Supermoto T and loved it. I pick it up next Saturday.
I toyed with getting the black and silver one, or maybe having the white panels fitted, but in the end I went with the classic colours.
Looking forward to getting to know my new bike.
